Sign InVES plays a vital role in ensuring that your medical disability exams are conducted as promptly as possible so the claims process can move along quickly.
VES providers perform the same medical disability exams that VA clinicians perform in VA facilities. Our clinicians are trained and certified under strict VA guidelines and conduct exams at private facilities that meet or exceed VA standards. Our global network includes 6,500+ clinicians with specialties in general medicine, psychology, psychiatry, neurology, neurosurgery, PM&R/physical medicine and rehabilitation, ophthalmology/optometry, dentistry, and audiology.
Exams are conducted to evaluate your medical condition for a claim you submitted to VA. Exam reports are reviewed for completeness and promptly submitted to VA for use in determining your disability rating. VES clinicians do not provide treatment for your condition or have knowledge of the rating decision made by VA.
Our investment in immersive training develops highly productive, empathetic, and skilled examiners who understand the unique concerns of Veterans and transitioning service members.
We deploy the latest technology so that you can communicate with us easily and quickly, and our scheduling technology enables VES to efficiently schedule exams in convenient locations.
Our Veteran Liaisons have firsthand experience with military culture and the unique needs of Veterans and transitioning service members because they are all Veterans themselves.
Our trained representatives provide fast answers to questions about exam services while demonstrating their understanding of military culture and the needs of those we serve, including caregivers, survivors, and family members.
We have Clinic Intake Specialists on-site at most clinics to make sure each Veteran is greeted with warmth and professionalism, that their needs are met, and that their experience is pleasant.
Our frequently asked questions (FAQs) page provides insights into key steps in the process or common information that is requested. To also help Veterans through this process, the Veterans Affairs has created a series of videos that provide support on general and exam specific questions. If you still have questions, our team is available to answer your questions.
The VES Veterans portal, provides information about your exam date, time, and location; exam status; and travel reimbursement. Learn how to login to the portal when you receive an claimant appointment letter from VES.

“I want to take this time to personally thank you, Veterans Evaluation Services, for the professionalism and respect I have been given from each of the three physicians I was evaluated by from VES.”
“From the moment of arrival, I felt welcomed, and my service appreciated. The evaluation was the most extensive I have had for diabetes. Each step of the evaluation was explained and results recorded. I was informed of where the results were being sent and normal time frames involved.”
“With your invaluable assistance, you helped make this 89-year-old Veteran’s examination experience truly satisfying.”
