Veterans Evaluation Services® (VES) was founded in 2008 to work directly with the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) to expedite your compensation and pension (C&P) exam.
Your exam will be the same that exam providers would perform at a VA facility. The purpose of having VES conduct your C&P exam is to make it more convenient and as close to the Veteran as we can possibly make it. VES clinicians are trained and certified under strict VA guidelines and these exams are offered at a private facility.
Through a network of professionally trained clinicians, we conduct exams in over 3,000 locations in the United States and more than 800 international locations to provide the VBA with the information they require to properly adjudicate your C&P claim.

Why am I being scheduled for a compensation and pension exam through a private provide and not at a VA facility?
VES is working directly with the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) to expedite your compensation and pension (C&P) exam. Your exam will be conducted by a professional trained to provide VBA the information they require to properly adjudicate your C&P claim. Your exam will be the same that exam providers perform at a VA facility. The purpose of having VES conduct your C&P exam is to make it more convenient and closer to you. VES clinicians are trained and certified under strict VA guidelines. Exams are offered at a private facility as close to the Veteran as possible.
Will my exam include treatment?
The exam evaluates your medical condition for your compensation and pension claim with Veterans Affairs. Our providers will not be providing treatment. If you have a medical emergency or need immediate assistance for a medical issue, please contact a VA hospital or private medical provider immediately.
What records do you have on file for me?
The VA provides us with all pertinent records that are part of your claim file. If you have any records that you have never submitted to the VA, please make sure you send them to the VA as soon as possible so they can be included with your claim file.
Does VES have my Power of Attorney (POA)?
VES does not have any POA authority or documents. POA is given to a person (or entity) you’ve designated and is not transferrable. The VA does not transfer any POA authority or documents to VES. If your POA is conducting business and communication on your behalf, the official POA document must be provided to VES. This allows us to communicate with your POA and help you in the best way possible
Can I contact the provider directly?
VES will contact the provider on your behalf. This allows us to keep detailed accounts of communication related to your appointment(s) and ensure your case is accurate and always updated.
Am I required to pay for any appointments?
No. All providers and diagnostic facilities work directly with VES. You should never pay for any part of your VES examination or diagnostic testing. You also do not have to provide your private insurance information to an examiner or diagnostic facility when you are scheduled through VES.
What do I do if I receive a bill for a VES appointment?
If you receive a bill or are asked to pay for an examination or diagnostic test related to your VES examination, please contact VES immediately at 1-877-637-8387 so we can resolve the issue.
